Best Swaybar Setup for my EG Hatch.
Right now I've got a 17mm front swaybar from a EG ex sedan on my 94 dx hatch, and nothing on the rear. I just wanted a heads up on the best sizes recommended for my eg hatch in MM for the front and rear because I want to upgrade, thanks.

Sway-bars (a.k.a. anti-roll bar)
are suspension tuning devices.
They do as their name states, prevent roll.. and connect the two sides together...
And like all suspension, there is no best size.
It all depends on how you want the car to feel like.
And it all depends on what springs and dampers you are running and and what you don't like.
Read up more about it, cause once you get into this kind of detail.. you need to know a little more about what each does...
PIC Performance explains anti-roll bars a lot better than me: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2111870

thanks for the input but all I'm pretty much looking for is a Good swaybar diameter for my eg in the front and rear, because my friends got an eg hatch which he installed a 19mm rear sway with stock suspension and claims the rear loses control easily in slippery driving conditions, and this is just what im worried about.

i've got an ITR rear sway bar and i love it...i've never felt even close to losing control around a bend or anything like that either.

Re: Best Swaybar Setup for my EG Hatch.
The best setup would be something that increases oversteer. This means having small sway bar in the front, and big sway bar in the rear. I run on my eg the stock 92-95 civic si/ex 21mm front sway bar and asr 24mm rear sway bar. This is best setup on eg6 other than running an aggressive setup such as a 25mm ITR front sway bar and 32mm asr hollow rear sway bar which is more aggressive for autox rather than street driving. For ek, some people say best is 26mm front sway bar and 32mm asr hollow rear sway bar. Honestly, some people like understeer, so running 26mm upfront and 22mm rear would provide that, but my personal preference would be to run more oversteer. I tried to use 26mm ctr sway bar on an eg6 but it won't fit due to the shape of the sway bar, so 25mm ITR for autox will have to do for now. Obviously cost is a factor, so whatever you could afford, I guess its better to have a sway bar rather than having no sway bar because sway bars reduce body roll.
