On B16A engines the result will turn out differently cuz of the cams , compression and flow characteristics of the head.

i was going to post a similiar question soon, so i guess ill ask you guys on this post.... i too am looking to go all motor on my 99 si, im only 17 so funds are limited, i need a good header for a good price, i was trying to buy a used header when the right price came along, or go with a new dc or something like that. ive heard the dc header can crack easily, do any of you have experience with the dc or any other "lower-priced" header? if so what do you recomend for under or around $400? keep in mind i may buy used....... thanks in advance, sorry for asking a question in your post

Get the Dc JDM 4-1 in ceramic and couple it with a high-flow 2.5'' cat from CarSound.

That's the combo I run and it's cheap and works kick-***! I'll know soon enough just how much power it netted me after i get on a dyno.

DC header usually runs like $280.00 and my cat was $150.00 installed with flanges and everything!

AN-R makes a header for B-series engines that kills even the toda and mugen headers in performance. $450 with a 2.5 inch outlet that you can have welded right up to a 2.5 inch carsound cat. kicks ***, i tell you

JUN 4-2-1... 2.5" collector, and some great mid-range that was lost from the 4-1 JDM...

thanks for the advice..... i was thinking about using that set-up, and i probably will now, have you had any problems with the dc header cracking?

Works well for my B16. But now that I dented the crap out of it, it's time to start saving for one of those expensive ones that hangs stock height and flows better but I'm still happy with the DC JDM 4-1

Is that dyno proven?
A dyno would help.

I think Dc's are fair enough. for the price... spoon and toda and a few others are over priced but if you have the money go right on. although they do look nice.
