Best exhaust for 99 Si ? (what would you buy if you had unlimited funds?)
My friend has a basically bonestock FBP 99 SIR (Si in the states)
So far the only mod is an AEM CAI.
-He wants to do Mild N/A
-He had his heart set on getting a Mugen header and Exhaust, but kingmotorsports claim they can only supply the header and the rear section .
-It would be too hard to try and find flanges to match the Mugen stuff in order to make a midsection ..
So ..
Who can recommend a full header / cat / exhaust combo that is A1 quality / will flow better than stock and not drown out the AEM or sound like some ricers fartcan?
BTW cost is no object (he was about to drop the money on a Mugen header and Axle back)
Please help
Thanks in advance
Will
p.s the car only has 37,000miles (50,000+km) and NO winters / its his baby so exotic materials (Ti / CF) wont be a huge issue (this car is pampered)

Re: Best exhaust for 99 Si ? (3cyltrbo)
Hes a bit of a snob, although other systems might outperform the JDM stuff, hed prefer to stay with Toda/Spoon/Jun/Mugen. Etc
or something else high-end
Of course everyone in the world makes a header, but it seems like most of the companies (JDM ones) only make Hatch systems and not Coupe systems (of course cause the coupe was nothing to them)
So what other recommendations do you have ?
Something with perfect welds / good fitment / decent power / top level materials etc
