Best D-series motor? opinons please.
i just want to know whats the best D-series motor because im in the middle of thinking about turboing a Dseries motor or getting a B16A1 motor. thanks

i kind of see a problem... (correct me if i'm wrong dammit...)
z6 head is best for high end (equal port diameter)
y8 manifold best for low end (longer runners)
or are you just putting them both to kinda get best of both worlds?
and my addition to the thread... best stock d-series motor: d15b

I like my D16Y8, nothing super fancy but affordable.
Horsepower: 127 hp Max Horsepower: 6600 rpm
Torque: 107 ft-lbs. Max Torque: 5500 rpm

oh and dont bother to get a B16A1. its illegal to put an older engine in a newer car.
get a B16A3 (94-95 Del Sol), or B16A2 (96-97 Del Sol, and 99-00 Si).

Isn't the y5 motor vtec-E? Wouldn't the y8 or z6 be the better choices?
