D16A6. Drop in a big cam and watch your idle lope.

Who needs VTEC, low emissions and good fuel economy are for wussies.

i kind of see a problem... (correct me if i'm wrong dammit...)

z6 head is best for high end (equal port diameter)
y8 manifold best for low end (longer runners)

or are you just putting them both to kinda get best of both worlds?

and my addition to the thread... best stock d-series motor: d15b

Actually the jdmd15b has a more aggressive cam than the D16's...and a better R/S ratio. So i'd say JDM D15B w/ Y8 tranny.

don't get me started on this again haha

oh and dont bother to get a B16A1. its illegal to put an older engine in a newer car.
get a B16A3 (94-95 Del Sol), or B16A2 (96-97 Del Sol, and 99-00 Si).

Isn't the y5 motor vtec-E? Wouldn't the y8 or z6 be the better choices?
