Best cams/reflash for jdm B16a
As stated in the title, I have a jdm b16a sir2. Engine is all stock. I have a 4-2-1 header, and a 3 inch full exhaust with cat delete. Stock intake (surprisingly) and stock intake manifold. I was wondering which cams would be best for me to invest in in the near future. I have heard that people have had difficulties making much power with the skunk2 stage 2 cams without or a tune or higher compression. I suppose I would up my compression a tiny bit with flat top valves. I have heard good things about ITR cams but I don't want to overcam or lean out in the top and and lose power. Any suggestions are helpful. Also what reflash do you recommend? I'm still on the stock ecu. Do I need to go obd1 to get a new map, or can I stick with the stock one? I appreciate any input.

It was just a question dude. I don't know much about the world of tuning, which is why I came here for help. I did some searching on google and most sites where about k series tuning.

Yes, pipe dream. AKA wishlisting, which last I checked gets threads locked.

Do I need to keep going? These are all your threads, in which we have spoon fed you so much information, and not once have you followed through on anything. You're just pipe dreaming, and quite frankly, wasting our time. You quite clearly do absolutely zero research, and continually come to us expecting us to do it for you. That's not how things work here. At least pretend that you're putting in a modicum of effort.

Pick a cam, get a chipped ecu, get a tune.

Ive had a high comp B20 also in an ek,BUT, i'm talking b20 vtec, that's a pretty damn good upgrade. It's doesn't make just torque, it would broaden the powerband, not as high rpm, really doesn't matter. If you are lots of power down below, shifting a bit earlier is hardly a bad thing

I've already experience what a NA b20/vtec could do. Lets just say someone blew a headgasket trying to play catchup on his boosted setup.

Re: Best cams/reflash for jdm B16a
its called clarification, he didn't ask if there was a reflash he ask what reflash was recommended. He confused terms used for k-series with b-series. There never was a reflash from hondata for the b-series.
Again just pick a cam and get a tune. If you decide to go do butt dyno tunes be warned that **** can go wrong if the person doesn't know what he's doing.
