Best Brand? Resonator/Test Pipe
Ok, so I've searched and read, and researched and reread, and there doesn't seem to be any real definitive answer....but thats what I'm looking for. Who makes the best resonator/test pipe for a 2000 Honda Civic EX? I'm currently checking out Megan Racing and Arospeed, what else is there and what experiences have you had with them?

it's just a pipe that replaces the cat... I had a custom one made at a muffler shop and I doubt the others are any different. I know omni sells one that's adjustable.

True. I was just about to make one for my newly turbo'd car this weekend, but figured I'd keep it legalish for the time being.

Anyone else...I'm really wondering about the sound quality...right now I'm running without a muffler and its the shittiest sound ever inside the car. I've got a full stainless GReddy cat back and DCSports headers, but I'm looking for something to replace my rusted all to hell cat. Not that I love killing kittens or anything, but I don't want a high flow cat, I just want something to resonate the sound a bit better than a custom welded pipe would.

Re: (Froznface)
In that case, why don't you just go to a muffler shop and have them put in a resonator where the cat was. Having just a test pipe in place of the cat will sound pretty bad. You'll get the classic buzzy "riceboy" noise.
To get the sound to where you want it, the resonator being put in might have to be longer than the stock cat length. A resonator of simply the cat length wouldn't really resonate anything, it's too short.
