Default best 195-50-15 tires???

Yep as the topic states,
i'm thinking of a 15x7 wheel setup with195-50-15 tires,
so that eliminates azenis.

I want a 15" wheel, and as lowprofile of a tire as possible,
but man I want that grip!!
price is an issue.. but I'd be willing to splurge if its good stuff,
couldn't spend over 100per tire tho.

no es100's, i've prettymuch ruled those out, not enuf grip,
but they're so cheap I might consider them if i'm hurting for dough.

so anyways, LMH some ideas!!
thanks.

Hmm how can you ask for the best when your on a budget? Well your lucky because the Potenza S-03 Pole Position from Bridgestone is the **** pretty much an under cover cheater it gets great miles, works as good as it does in the wet as it does almost in the dry go to tirerack.com check out the survey results and its under 100 dollars but if you really want the yok es100 pm me i can hook for under 100 also

S-03. Best 195/50-15 tire I've ever driven on. A few weeks ago during a SoCal downpour, I cruised along at 70-80mph while cars around me had to slow down. On a gentle curve in the freeway, one car actually spun in front of me. The S-03s have excellent wet grip.

This past weekend I was at Buttonwillow Raceway and the S-03s rock! Going clockwise at BW, I was entering Bus Stop flat after exiting Cotton Corners. I couldn't do that before with the Toyo FZ4s.

But if you think the ES100s didn't grip enough for you, then don't expect too much from the S-03s, as the improvement is not that big. I liken it to the the improvement in performance from the Toyo FZ4 to the Toyo T1-S.

The T1-S is about equal in the wet to the S-03. Dry grip is on par with the ES100s. Another alternative is T1-S' long lost twin, the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.

I love my S03s! Like others have said, best tires I've ever had. I find mine online for $95, so it'll work with your budget.

Everyone will probably disagree with me but I feel that my Kumho 711's have better grip than my AVSES100's had...I didn't like them at all. If you want azenis-like grip, the only think that comes close is azenis.

Bridgestone Pole Position S03's are what I have now.

Outstanding tire in dry and wet road conditions - would not endorse them as a 'winter' use tire.

Check out http://www.tirerack.com

Select tires from the top of the menu pop in the size tire your looking for. Tire rack has reviews on all the tires they carry and a chart of how each tire performs.

Im running yoko avids really inexpensive and grip like mad.

you thinking the es100's dont have enough grip is ridiculous. If that is not enough grip for you, then I suggest R compound tires, which are out of your budget.

How bout some Kumho Ecsta's? My friend just did the same thing and got them 100 bucks each. They look like pretty pimp tires to me, I guess the only thing is that I'm in Canada, but if you look up a place called Deals for Wheels, you could probably get a good shipping price if they have to come all the way from here. Anyway good luck.

I concur with this. I've driven the ES100s and the Azenis and think the ES100s are unbeliveably ungrippy in comparison.

well i'm also trusting the tirerack ratings,
and the avs es100's really did not score very well.

What would you guys say about the Dry grip of the
Toyo T1s VS. Potenza S03 ?

yeah 195's might be too skinny for a 7in rim...

but I'd go with the toyo's if you don't want the es100's.....

but if you decide to go 205/50/15 get the azenis..

205/50 is not lower profile than 195/50.

7in is the max for 195 (at least for my S03s - check out bridgestone's page...they say it there) without sidewall stretch. But, a little bit of stretch never hurt anyone anyway...you could go up to 8.5 or 9 on a 195.

what are the dimensions of integra LS rims? My friend got 205/50/15 on his and I think those rims are 15X7. It's on his CX hatch with no rubbing.
