Default Benen 3-pt vs Carbing 3-pt strut bar

Whats up everyone. Im looking to buy a front strut bar, most probably a 3-pt bar due to its obvious advantages. Im looking at either the benen or the carbing. They both look like quality products.
But the carbing looks so beefy and mean vs the benen. Is the price difference (about 150$ more fore the carbing) really worth it? The car will be used for autocross.

Thanks.

the carbing bar is great, but i think it doesn't clear the brake master cylinder cap since its for a rigth-hand drive car. but i heard that's only if u have a larger MC like a ITR or GSR. benen will definatly clear. I would just get the benen.

I have the CARBING brace and it is one burly piece of aluminum. The master cylinder brace was a plus (if your rhd like me) and if you have the stock strut tower brace it will fit on there with it to.
The only negative things is that I had to move a wiring harness bracket and the airconditioning lines so it would fit.

I dunno how the autocross rules are up there in Canada, but for the lower classes of SCCA any bar that triangulates with the firewall is illegal. Be sure to read the rulebook before you go out and buy stuff.

Carbing fits my Si w/o any problems.

MrFatBooty is right about the 3-pt bars not being allowed for lower classes of SCCA.

Another option...
Anyone use the Rigid 3 point offered by AJ-Racing? Looks like the Carbing but cheaper.

damn that bennen bar is mighty ugly. I would suggest as an alternative the JG bar available through jegs. It is a triangular bar and it's only like 140 bucks. later

yup three point strut bars are the least of your problems when you have a swapped engine and such

Not only that, It has a total of 7 pieces.

Here's another shot of the one above, it's my '94 hatch.
I like where this one ties to the strut, not the sheetmetal outside of it.
btw- I have to take the bar off to get to the mc reservior(ITR)

mmm....7 pieces. oh wait, that sucks.
both bars do the same thing.
benen is less expensive, easier to get, and would most likely have better support from the manufacturer.
go with whichever you want, but the benen one seems to be a better choice.
