)bd2b - obd1 P28 4k idle cold 1500 warm...
just put a p28 into my OBD2b car. (has SI harness with 2 wire IACV)
When the car is cold it idles @ 3500 - 4000 rpm. When It warms up it idles at 1500 rpm.
When I plug the hole inside the intake it idles @ 750.
I have changed the IACV 4 times. 2 times were with working units from other cars, put back on that car worked fine.
I am wondering where to hook up the IACV directly to the plugs on my P28.
there are 2 wires on my IACV. Black with blue stripe, and yellow with black stripe.
In all of the p28 pinout diagrams I have looked at they only mention where the Black/blue wire go - A9 IACV positive side. Where does the Yellow/black wire go.
Also on my SI harness the B plug for ecu. Only has a wire for IACV at B23 black w/ blue stripe. There is no orange wire @ B15 and nothing @ b6 either.
So my questions are.
Where to hook the wires to the P28 directly from IACV?
Anyone else with this problem?
Anyone have another fix or idea?

I am running a Virgin p28 on a D16z6 intake. The engine itself is a D15Z1. There are no engine codes it runs perfectly fine other than that.

The blu/blk is the (pwm) ground and the yel/blk is positive. The yel/blk gets 12v with the key on through the pgmfi relay. Only the blu/blk goes to the ecu on a 2 wire IACV.

I rewired the IACV directly to the ECU, there was no change. turns out it was the FITV on the z6 intake. I replaced the throttle body with one from my Y8 intake with no FITV and the car runs perfect again.
