Default basic bolt-ons

i want to take my stock motor to a higher level
what i have is intake, headers, test pipe, catback, and chipped ecu.
what are some other basic bolt-ons that are good and beneficial?
i was thinking maybe upgrade the fuel system? since i'm already complete with the air flow already?

you can also do a bigger throttle body like 70mm or somethin like that, and get intake manifold or port match stock intake manifold, and as you mentioned fuel system, bigger injectors etc.

Turbos bolt on.

What the hell is your ECU chipped for? your bolt ons?

>.>

Upgrading the fuel system doesn't do ANYTHING unless you have a need for more fuel. Adding more fuel to your current air/fuel mix will just make your car run rich. Bigger fuel injectors don't mean more fuel = more power.

You need more air for every bit more fuel you add to the mix to make the ratio correct. The only way to get enough extra air in the system to justify changing the fuel system is forced induction.

Bolt ons won't do much but empty your wallet, especially if you still have the d series engine.

So what motor do you have again?

If it's a dseries, your best bet is to boost it or swap it. Most of those mods are most likely useless, maybe adding 5/10HP (if that). And you said you have a chipped ECU.. meaning you bought something on eBay that said it would make your car 10x faster or you actually got a dyno tune?

The things you've done so far have added virtually nothing but noise and emissions. Fuel mods aren't going to do anything for you because the stock injectors and ECU regulate everything according to timing changes, MAP input and TPS/RPM loading.

Either leave it alone and get 38mpg like I did or put a turbo on it and stop nickle-and-diming yourself into the poor house trying to make gold out of tin.

What you have actually done is hurt the performance of your car. You have no reason as stated above for the mods you have. You now have no back pressure in your exhaust system. The only time this would ever help you is at top end which even then will barely bennefit you. You now make less power down low, which is where it would likely bennefit you.

Keep the engine stock but you want more power? Not gonna happen. I went that route. Never really felt the difference. Probably hurt the performance more than helped. Went Boost. Kept the engine stock (for now) and haven't looked back.

if anything you should get mods that will help you right now and even more when you boost if you decide to like maybe a camshaft intake manifold tb but for the tb i think a b series one would be good enough

with that engine, i wouldnt bother with bolt-ons, huge waste of money, all you'll get is sound

either boost it or swap a B-series in there (not B16A plz, too expensive for what u get)

if i'm going for a swap i think b16 would be good.. i've herd gsr B18C1 engine tend to lose compression. also a h2b would be the best but the kit is too much already.

just build the single and boost it my b16 turbo was whack compared to my ls turbo and even though people thinks its fast to me it was slow i could have used that 900 used from swapping those motors and built my single and boosted it with more power
