bad install or poor construction
I ordered a front ABS Type R front lip from StreetStylers.com - it fit fine, and all that good stuff and i got it painted and whatever, was working good.
The only problem i had during the install was figuring out how to install the clamps that mount onto the front bumper, so i just left them off and tightened the side screws extra tight.
Anyway, today i was "cruising" down the highway at a steady 80/85mph and next thing i know i hit, what i thought, was a bump and looked in my rear view mirror and saw a bunch of red plastic pieces flyin away (my front lip bent under my bumper and fell off) - when i got home i check for the screw holes being torn, and there was no sign of a front lip, there were the holes, but no screws or anything like that.
Was this poor construction for higher speeds, or my bad installation?

you should have had at least 4 screws holding it in. one on each side. and one on each end . and possibly one in the middle.. two screws plus all that angry Downforce equals no more front lip

i had 2 on each side (2left, 2right = 4)
but there was like a 1/2"-2" gap between my front bumper skidplate & front lip so no center/middle screws
