bad hub or trans??
trans is a m2b4 conncted to a h22a in a 97 civic ex. here is the problem; with car on jack stands and passenger tire off, car started and in gear the passenger side rotor/suspension and all wobbles. it shakes the motor side to side just a bit and the spindle kinda bounces up and down. its not a lot just about 1/2" or so. the axle is new and this has happened with three other axles. with the axle removed the eng/trans doesn't shake or anything. during all this the driver side is rotating true, no wobbles or shakes.
questions: is there any way the diff inside could wobble on one side and run true on the other. i know sounds stupid but I'm asking anyway.
or could it just be a bad hub. spinning the hub with out anything connected its firm to spin but doesn't feel wobbly but you can feel a slight snag in it every once in a while. spinning the hub with axle installed you can feel it spin freeish then hard the less hard the hard. it never just spins like a top with or with out the axle.
