Bad experience w/pacesetter...
Okay I'm not sure if I should have this here since it does have some tech but isn't related to Honda. Move if neccessary.
My brother has a 1995 Talon Esi. It is a factory freak, outruns other talon's and eclipses when it was stock. So we decide to put i/h/e on it. He buys a fairly decent looking Pacesetter 4-2-1 header. I was very dissapointed with the quality and craftmanship of this header.
This particular header didn't fit well at all. We had to modify 3 of the bolt holes where the header connects to the head, adjust the way the pieces of the header connected to eachother and after all of this, the damn header had a ******* GAPE in between itself and the head. Sounds like a damn motorcycle. Damn. He is getting me to take it to an exhaust shop while he is at work tomorrow to see if we can't do something about it.
FYI: Everything was done correctly, this is the third header I have installed and I blame it just on shitty craftmanship. Okay I feel a little better, I just needed to vent.

Pacesetter has always offered sub par craftsmanship.
Sounds like the flange is warped if there's a gaps at the mounting point.

Yeah that is what we figure, I think he got it off of Ebay so it will probably be a few years till we get a new one. We'll probably have to send it back if the exhaust shop can't do anything.

I know for a fact that Pacesetter had bad fitment problems, but they did fix it and they are selling ones that work fine. Mine fit on fine, but they hit the the underbody, I believe that I got a bad set, because they don't hang low enough. My headers still run fine, I mean, Pacesetter is not going to be the highest quality. Pacesetter is low priced performance and they get a lot of business because of that I think.
Did you buy this header used? Straight from Pacesetter?

My brother bought it new off of ebay. I'm going to get in contact with the seller and see what I can get done, he isn't very diplomatic about things like this.
