OK i just bought a 93 Si coupe, Its AUTOMATIC but for the price i paid no complains

Anyway i wanna kno if i Pick up a B20b Complete motor and Tranny (auto) will it drop in easily.. other than the mounts, and drive shafts...

see I have never Done an Automatic swap B4.. so is there more complications In the Auto tranny install? like ie. Shift linkeage, and wiring?? also do i have to get the ECU? will it be plug and play into a 93 si (ex) harness? (automatic) if that makes a diff from a 5 speed harness

If this can't be done, thats ok it was worth a shot.. then i will just buy another Automatic SOHC swap.

I've always that about doing this swap but never fell through with it. It's been discussed a couple of times. I'm not sure if you'll be able to retain the original tranny for the b20. You will need an LS tranny with LS ECU and TCM. You wiring will take a while since you have to wire up the TCM. Then you have to make room for the auto tranny in the engine bay. Something like notching or banging the passenger side tranny mount area. Search is your friend.

93 si coupe? that a canada only thing or what?

well Si in being an EX?? in the US and its a coupe cuz its a 2 door with a trunk.. and we also had the 92 93 Si or EX hatchback civics. but then from 94-95 discontinued
