A '97 civic cx would not be considered an eg. People refer to the '96 - '00 civic hatches as EKs generally. What I meant by future plans was, what do you plan on doing with the car? Daily driver...turbo monster...in between...that can give me a better idea of what mounts you could use. In most applications the stock mounts from the '99 to '00 civic Si will work just fine. you will also need to change the actual mount that bolts to the engine on the driver side in most cases with your style civic and the B20.

haha! sorry for the mistakes....well yea I'm looking to go for a reubuild low compression pistons, stornger rods etc... and LSVtec/Trubo...but I'm only looking to be around 220-240HP after the turbo and tune. Ok thanks for that info on the mounts. Now which mount should I use to bolt the engine to the driver side...I'm only assuming to use the SI driver side mount. Right??

Honestly if you want to eliminate the weakest link only you can go with only changing the rear for an Avid Racing Mount or a Hasport 1 but avid and energy suspension both sell inserts and Avid Makes Solid torque mounts also so there are a lot of options out there. Place Racing also make mounts.

You can almost make that NA with a nicely built Ls/Vtec. It will be hard to get those low of numbers on a nicely built turbo LS/VTEC...Driver side civic Si mount as well yes.

hmmmmm....Well I wouldnt mind going N/A....my only fear about going N/A is torque. But oh well, we will see what happens when the time comes! So the SI mounts it is then! Well I got one more quick question for you guys since I have your attention...Cooling for the new motor, should I go ahead and use the SI radiator and fans since the D series stuff wont work with the B Series motor? oh and thanks for all the information guys, this is really helping me to streamline my research
