B20 lovers ONLY!!!!
I'm sure you know the drill. Only B20's. Topics discussion, sign in, post up pics, whatever. Why you think B20's beat K20's at half the price, and H22's barely even modded? Because they are the ****. Thats why!

Not a hater. If I could get a K20 I would. I do realize the power potential. But I also know that I can have K20 power with my B20 for less so I am greatful for this motor and I love it. So I want to do a thread on just B20's.
As for the other question I will research that answer, but I have heard pretty drastic increases upwards of 200+ but make sure you get a good head gasket such as cosmetic and ARP head studs. You shouldn't have issues. A friend of mine runs 6 psi then 11 psi on track and his car is still very reliable. But when you get the time and money it is best to get the motor built. It ill be worth it in every way. You will be happy with the turbo on stock block though but be smart about your parts.

Re: B20 lovers ONLY!!!!
As far as all motor, thats what I been seein is the way to go with these. They can go head to head with K20's for sure with the VTEC conversion. And they have HUGE potential. IMO after the cost of the K20, wirin harness, tranny, mounts, and all that versus the B20B or Z. Its way cheaper to build the B20 especially when you know the right parts to use. I'm just sayin K20's they're hot but its more of a status thing that some people can't afford and B20's are always just overlooked. Until one spanks that *** at half the price. Me personally I'd be all ove rthat V6 swap but I love my B20 and definetely hasn't failed me or dissapointed me in many races. I don't even have the vtec head yet or many of the parts going on yet for the matter.

Re: B20 lovers ONLY!!!!
the only reason i have a B20, is because i need something to replace the d series in my 96 dx coupe (winter beater)
i do like the fact that it has better choices for bolt on's than a Y7, but who the hell cares, its still going to be a slow *** honda.

B20b/z are not bad engines. They were under tune from the factory because it was used as a truck motor(suv's are consider trucks). Hence the long neck intake manifold and the cheaply made exhaust manifold. Stock sleeves hold up well under NA, but boost can be a hit and miss. B20's need a crank griddle to stabilize the crank at 8k+ rpms. What is more important in this equation, is tuning. Tuning makes a world of difference.
