hey guys wat ya think. not great if ya ask me.
first one is from before i had much done. basically a j's intake, dc sports 4-2-1 with d-cat and a full skunk2 70mm mega power R cat back.

this is with all the same bit along with skunk stage2 tuner cams and cam gears,
sard fpr, a new j's intake and an apexi power fc to run it all

Re: (turbojdmhatch)
yea 158whp without the cams
171whp with skunk2 stage 2 tuner cams.
not sure if its mapped great, the curve is quite jumpy

thats really low, i had your motor looked at to see whats wrong
stock usdm itr motors average 170whp bone stock
and youv got intake, header, exhaust, testpipe, cams, cam gears, fpr, and a stand alone and your only making what a stock itr motor makes
somthing is defnitly wrong with your motor

does seem to be low but for a side not all dynos read diff. what kind of dyno was it on i didnt see on the graph. Another note would be its just to tune the real results should show at the track the dyno is just a tune tool. did you do a full rebuild on this motor? how you do a compression test?

You need to check your fuel lines, and do a compression/leakdown test on your engine.
I had a bad fuel line in my fuel tank and was running very lean (A/F ratio was 16.6), and I put down as much as you did with the cams. All I have is a CAI and an Apex'i exhuast, 98+ spec JDM B18CR.

Re: (OMGWTFBBQ!)
the inconsistent power band is what I would be concerned with, you either have something wrong with your car or need a better tuner BAD! you should see a smooth line like the other dyno sheet above givin it jumped when he hit VTAC but still pretty smooth.

^^u kno i was just thinking the same thing. it also looks like when u crossed over into VTEC u lost power then started to make power. also correct me if im wrong but arent skunk 2 stage 2 cames about the same size as ITR cams? Did they have the A/F from your dyno runs also?

Yeah I was under the impression that the Type R cams were very similar to Skunk2 Stage 2 cams.
Within a few thousandths on the lift and duration or there abouts.

Re: (Jimmy)
every build and engine are different but 170 is a little low with the cams. Do you have the cam gears 2 to adjust it also make sure that your timing is right that can play a big difference in numbers.

Re: (bbandco_keevee)
compression good
fuel lines etc good,
could the fpr be set too low?
air temp and humidity were very high if u look at the figures.
on the 2nd sheet there are 2 graphs, the skinny one is with the silencer in and the thicker one is without.look at the difference around 6k (almost 25hp)
cam gears set as close to skunk 2 spec as i could without a dial gauge and moved them about a bit between dyno runs.
i still think bad mapping.i hope!!!
