b18c1 running hot why

Icon2 b18c1 running hot why

first off b18c1 in 94 coupe blowed the head gasket so i got a new oem gasket took the head off had it ported and polished new valves put in also while i had the head off i replaced the rings put a new full radiator in it and new hoses any ideas of why it would be running hot . also what could cause a brand new clutch to go bad within two days thanks for the help guys

Stock b18 in a coupe and you installed a full size radiator? Did you get hoses for the b18 or for your civic? Did you bleed the air from the coolant lines when you installed the new rad?

did you get the head resurfaced flat after the blown head gasket? enough coolant? did you do a mix or just water?

the brand new clutch problem. did you replace the fly wheel? or at least get it resurfaced?

with u doing all of that to ur b18 after blowing a head gasket and its running hot timing could be out they will run hot if the timing is not set right i just dont a b18b1 swap in my 92 civic 4 door and mine was running hot rest the time and it stoped ruinning hot now i just got to fig out why its not wanting to stay running at idel lol

make sure fans are cutting on. may have left one unplugged when changing out radiator? and even tho not likely, clutch may have been put in backwards

yes it was resurfaced while at the head shop and the coolant is mixed 50/50

yeah full size and the hoses i just matched to work out of our loc. napa store yeah i bleed the lines some maybe not enough tho.

no i didnt replace the fly wheel or have it resufaced didnt think ab that it has a light weight fedanza in it

the timing is dead on !

the fans are wired up to come on win the car comes on .

Wire the fan correctly and make sure all the air is out of the system. Does it overhead sitting or on the highway?

With the clutch, did you get the slave cylinder replaced?
