Hi i'm doing b18c sir-g swap in ej8 but i ran into a problem.. I was hoping that the stock d16y8 tranny mount would fit on the jdm sir tranny that i'm putting in but sure enough it didn't. so i was wondering what would work to mount my tranny? Also i changed the spendels to integra spendels. can i use the stock civic calipers or do i have to upgrade to integra calipers or are they the same? thx.

wich mount are you talking about ? the side mount or the rear mount for the transmission ?

The Side mount will work 100% the rear mount , you need to order one from honda. Ask for rear transmission mount for a 99-00 Civic SIr .

Can you take a picture of the mounts you have, IT should work. I'll check I know i have the stock mounts from a SIr somewhere that can work for you .

the first pic is the mount on the frame the second is the bracket on the d series trany and the third is the sir trany i have

The second picture shows the Correct mount. You need to take off the black Piece from the 3rd picture to install the piece from the 2nd picture.

i tried it and it didn't line up with the bolt wholes

Can you take a picture of the transmission without the Black piece on it, and all take a picture of the bottom of the transmission where the Rods install.

I cant see it not working Unless you dont have a GSR transmission.

I dont have experience with Cable transmissions. But maybe thats what you have and they might use a different mounting system ( but I dont know about this )

Missed that part, Well they are exactly the same physical on the outside. So It should bolt up 100%

i just put a b16 with a b16 tranny in my ej8 and i used the d16y8 mounts all except for the back bracket had to have a b16 bracket all other mounts worked perfect good luck sounds like you are having some real problems

your trying to put a cable tranny into a hydro car , hydro mounts wont work on a cable tranny

That mount WON'T work for him. Thats for a 92-95 civic or Integra .
