this is quite a common swap. the b16 tranny has shorter gears, which will allow you to rev the b18 alot faster than the ls tranny.

b16a tranny will bolt on with no problem and b16a tranny has shorter gears than ls tranny... but since it has shorter gears..better acceleartion..but it will have high rpm when u are driving on hightway at 5th gear..for example... 70mph at 3800 rpm..or so..this is where 6th gear comes in handy..

it's really not that bad. easier to accelerate without having to downshift.

kewl thanks a lot guys. i used to have a b16a2 swap in my 94 civic si hatch. u think this set up(ls w/b16 tranny) would be better than my b16a2 swap. i ran a 14.61 with my b16 swap. would i do better with this swap.
