b18b1 surging idle
i bought my 93 eg with a b18b1. the guy i bought it from disconnected the tps cus it was going bad and causing it to chug under low throttle input.
soo i bought a new tps. its still throwing a cel but i havent got it checked to see what it is.
before i put the new tps on, the idle was high. around 1800 rpm. now the idle is around that when cold, but drops to like 900 when warmed up.
after driving and coming to a stop, the idle will be around 1300, then drop to 900 and surge between that.
if im driving and push the clutch in, the idle will still surge like that as well.
im assuming some other sensor is bad. but im clueless as to what one it might be. this is my first honda so im new to this ****.
anyone have any thoughts on what it might be? any input is appreciated.
thanks

Since you seem a little inexperienced, to calibrate the tps, you need to check voltage of the red wire for the tps. With the key on, it should read .5 volts in closed throttle conditions, and 4.5volts in wot.
