b18b1 engine swap to d16 civic si
My friends and I are starting a swap on my car today. The piston's fucked off in my civic (d16 with vtec) and I decided to get a b18b1 motor from a 2000 integra. Posting on here to see if anyone can give me some tips and advice and let me know if I might be missing anything.
All the parts I've bought:
B18b1 motor from a 2000 integra (everything on it except for clutch, flywheel and tranny)
GSR transmission
Stage 1 clutch and flywheel
B18 drive shafts
B18 linkages
B18 t-bracket
B18 starter
B18b1 ecu
^ All these parts are from a 2000-2001 integra
Everything else we might need we're going to take off the D motor. Right now we have in mind to use the D engine mounts and a couple other stuff as long as it fits/works. I only know so much about the swap and what will work and what won't. Some insight from the honda community would be really appreciated! This is happening tonight :D
