Default b18b swap homework

hey everyone, just finishing my swap homework. i have a 96 civic cx and my friend got me a complete obd2 swap for $1000. so here's what i've gotten off of doing a search: need to get 99-00 si rear tranny and driver side mounts, 95-96 del sol a/c bracket. everything else should be all good right?

two questions i'm still iffy on, ecu wiring. i can use my wireharness, just need to re-pin the ls plugs for the ecu right? also, as for exhaust, it seems like i have to cut some of the b-pipe to fit the ls manifold. i dont want to do too much on the exhaust, cause i will get a setup once i get my turbo project going. oh also, in MN we dont get emissions testing, so no cat is needed.

thanks for the help guys.

Id be "iffy" on the whole damn thing. first off if your friend could get a legit gsr swap for 1k he would buy it and turn arround to easily sell it for 3k or somewhere near there. Id be sure you arent dealing with stilen goods before you start hading cash over.

yeah man i understand what you're saying, but i forgot to mention the swap (my bad) its a 98 ls swap and he's getting it through his work. he's not trying to make any money off of me, so thats why he's getting me his price.

ah right on then. yeah you have everything else right. are you getting shift linkage and axles with it? sometimes people dont realise that those are needed for a "complete"swap heh.

b18c/GSR b18b/LS Anyways on another note you won't regret it I have a b18b in my hatch as well and I like it. As for the ecu yes all you have to do is rewire the pins on the harness.

And yes you will need a rear si mount and a delsol 94-96 a/c mount I think its p54 not for sure but I know its off the delsol.

You will only have to repin your plugs for the LS ecu, IF the LS ecu is 99-01.

If you need a 96-98 LS ECU cheap let me know, I got one gathering dust.
