b18b in EK... BC Cams Stage 2 start up problem...
After I installed a new set of Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams and Valve springs, I tried to start the car and it keeps dying on me. It sounds like there is not enough fuel to it but i am not sure. I'm using the stock fuel pump and I thought it might be a air vacuum leak, so I changed the IACV valve, Throttle body and still no good. The only way I could get the car to fire right was to step on the gas a little bit and then fire it up and it works. Any ideas on fixing that problem? I don't want to keep stepping on the gas pedal to start the car up. Thanks! I ran a leak test, and compression test. Both test says it's normal..

Yea I am getting a spark, the timing on the cam is set at 0 degrees, i haven't changed them yet do you It could be the intake cam that needs to be adjusted?

no, i don't think i did, the car runs fine after I step and hold on the gas pedal to fire it up . Could it be something with the air/fuel ratio?

Only if you have a wideband you wont know that. I would need to see (video) the car to actually know whats going on. If it sounds like its not getting fuel then you need a fuel pressure gauge to see if thats true.
