b18b 96 hatch vs rsx type s
ok this kid down the street just got an acura RSX type S yesterday and he wants to race me. I have a 96 civic hatch dx with a 99 b18b swapped with j's style intake , DC 4-2-1 headers, 2 1/4 pipes to an obx mugen twinloop exhaust. His is completly stock cause he has only had it for 2 days now. I want to know what my chances are of beating him. This is also his first stick car so i don't think he knows how to drive it yet. I have been driving stick for the last 3 yrs and have gonna to the track plenty of times. So do you guys think i have a good enough chance to race him for some money or would his car still just beat me. I want to put money on the race if i hve a chance of beating him. thanks for any and all replys

This is not an E-Racing forum. Take it to the track and don't post this kinda stuff in here. Read the TOS and the Forum guidlines as well n00b.

a bone stock rsx-s puts down about 170-175 hp to the ground. the only chance i would think you have is if he cant drive worth a **** and you can.
