B18 Swap into EG civic - Couple questions (searched)
Hey guys,
I am helping a friend of mine swap a motor and trans from a 92 LS Teg into a 92 CX hatch.
First off, he (for financial reasons) opted to use the cable tranny from the teg. We had to pull the pedals from the teg and put them into the civic and drill a hole for the clutch pedal. No big deal there, it all works. (seems to, anyway)
So anyway, the only problem(s) we are having is with the mounts. The rear mount near the firewall is not lining up. I read something tonight about the rear mount having to be from a 94+ Integra, is this true?
I guess what I am asking someone to do is literally spell out what mounts I need where. Here's what we've got:
P/S on transmission - bseries mount from the DA integra
D/S on motor - bseries mount from DA integra
rear mount on rear cross member - bseries from DA
So, please enlighten me!
Also, we've got a VSS from a DC teg. (because the old one was a speedometer cable) The VSS does not bolt on, is there a way to get around this?
I appreciate any input someone may have on this.
Thanks.

You need aftermarket mounts. Really you'd be better off getting a hydro tranny case and swapping the cable guts into it and using stock '94 - '01 Integra mounts (note that the only cable trannys you can do this with are '92 - '93 YS1 trannys)
