Default B18 oil pan on B16 Block

Are the B16 and B18 blocks compatible with the same oil pans? If the heads are swapable, then I hope the oil pans are as well.

B16A oil pans have the same part number as B18A/B engines. So as far as those two specific engines are concerned, they are interchangeable because they are the exact same thing.

I am asking because I am looking to use a 5 qt aftermarket pan designed fro the B18 block on my B16. It is not specifically a GSR pan. What is the difference in the pans for the B18A/B and GSR?

Only if you get the GSR oil pan... all other B series should be fine.
