I have around $6000. I want the car to be a daily driven ride that packs a lot of punch so that I can take it to the track or just kick some *** . The civic is a 96 hb. I want to make it as a civic r.

I have another question.....
Would the civic r cluster work with all three engines or just the type r engines?

I know $6000 isn't alot of money but its a start.

Yes, the cluster will plug right in. The engine doesn't matter to the gauge cluster.

Go H22. 195HP, 15x Torque. Or get a H22 Type S. 220HP, 168 Torque.

Should be able to click of 13's bone stock.

also with a few boltons you'll hit 13's with the b18c5(slick down) , IMO go with the b18c5
if you are going n/a .if you think of going boostthen go with the b18c1!

PLEASE do a search - this topic gets asked EVERY day. I know you're new here, so I'm trying to help you by poiting out that this site has a great search engine.

Get the B18C1. I've had the B16A2, B18C1, and still have my B18C5, and for the money, the B18C1 is the BEST IMO.

Want to go all motor? Then you'll be building up the internals anyways, so why wast good money on the B18C5 stuff if better is available in the aftermarket?

Wnat to boost? 10:1 cr and a stronger-than B16A bottom end support boost pretty damn well too.

Stock vs. stock the B18C1 beats the B16A2 in my 2 different but equally prepped 1992 Si hatches. And yes of course the B18C5 betters the B18C1 1/4 mile time by almost a FULL second, but you will PAY for that B18C5 unless you do a LOT of searching and you're VERY patient.
