im rebuild my b16a3 and im kind of low in money soo i saw a kit in ebay pretty cheap i think... and i was wondering if anyone has use it or if u guys can give me advice.. i dont want it to to hiperformance just to take me to school and thats it. thanks.

my friend used a ebay kit like that ..but his car never started after that not sayin the kit is bad but i personally wouldn't ever use it

thanks for the info.... can anyone help me what part to order? oem aftermarket.... just piston rings bearings and oil water pump?

i bought a kit off ebay for my b16a2 for 300$ and its total ****... the headgasket is blown after only 10k miles and ive babied it, also the waterpump is starting to leak. im thinking about going ahead and replacing all of it when i change the HG. i dont recommend it

why not look into a rebuild with oem parts

iam kind of short in cash,,, but after hearing all the negative comments ill will have to buy oem parts.. or at least good quality parts..

i'm awaiting to rebuild my b16 as well. After searching and reading around your best bet would be to go with OEM parts. Check out inlinefour.com for their gasket kits or search for majestic honda online. They have great prices for OEM parts

i bought a full gasket kit off ebay to rebuild my car with but i used all used oem parts to rebuild im almost at 10k and all is well

is anything even wrong with your b16? why do you want to rebuild?

yes compresion if off and low on all pistons, motor has aproxx 180,000 and aim leave town. i live in CALI and going to UTI is in PHEONIX soo i dont want to have problems awy from home..

i want to have it running in perfect conditions..

Just use a ebay gasket kit, go threw your parts and see what needs to be replaced thats what i did i ended up using 3 D16Y8's as parts Paid $250 for 2 and had one already in my car everything came out great for me so far.

you can always sell your motor and swap another one in...or just piece together oem parts over time
