B16a2 rare noise at 7000 - 8200 rpms
Hi
I notice on my B16A2 a rare noise on Vtec at about 7000 to 8200 rpm, is like a stress or a valves noise and a little loss of power. this noise came from the passangers side. any idea? only on high rpm range is noticeable.
Thanks!

I don't know if you're trying to make this difficult on us intentionally, or if it just comes naturally...
For something like this, you need to be as descriptive as humanly possible. Sound (you said grinding, but metal/metal, plastic/plastic, metal/plastic, rubber/plastic all sound different), location (you said passenger side, but low? High? More towards the transmission tunnel, or the fender?), tone/pitch (does it get louder or higher in higher RPM?), load (if you come off the gas, does it still happen? Foot on clutch, still there?). These are all things that you should tell us when you're trying to describe a noise, especially when it's a noise so high in the powerband that you can't just sit there and rev it out.
Seriously, don't limit yourself to things I've mentioned. Tell us EVERYTHING YOU CAN about the noise.

The worst thing you can do is try to find the noise yourself or take it somewhere where they can inspect it. Its definitely easier for us to find out what it is even though after we make these suggestions, you will have to inspect it yourself or take it to someone to inspect it anyway.
