ITR intake manifold is the best OEM intake manifold you can get for PR3 heads, flows WAY better than B16A2

an itr manifold takes away from the little midrange a b16 has and shifts the powerband higher. the stock b16 manifold is better until you get into cams and internals.

this is an inaccurate statement. it will flow more above at or 8k, but, what about 2-7900rpm? the p30 im is probably the best suited oem manifold for daily driven vehicles that don't spin to 9K.

i dont tink on a B16a swaping a ITR intake will give anny gains wit stock cams effectivly

the cheeper and best thing to doo on a b16a is 1999 GSR cams.
fit with Si-R springs till 8500rpm
Nice Exhaust line is always a goal
Possible 170Whp
Trying more power then that is wasting time and money on a b16a

Skunk2's original design for their intake manifold was based on the type r so that should tell you that it flows pretty well.Your best bet is to figure out what you want to make as far as horsepower goes with your car and then buy parts that will help you get there.

I'm building a B20 nonvtec stroker and using a P8R ported head, i will use an Si-R intake Manifold. My raison is that the B20 nonvtec does'n rev over 7200rpm, So ill be using the hy velocity on the RPM range of the Si-R intake. cause she peek air flow around 5500-7000rpm agains the LS intake manifold that will peek around 4000-5500rpm.
Using a ITR intake manifold on that motor will probably reduce the tork above 6500rpm and try to peek it lather where the LS cams dos'n bread enimor.

I've seen numerous dyno's on this topic. For the most part, the P30 makes more power accross the rpm range untill about 8000rpm, then the ITR has a small spike. From what i've seen, if going all motor, i'd stay with the P30 intake.
