b16a swap
I just bought a b16a to put in my 98 civic. It's OBDI. Are the only things I need shift linkage and motor mounts? It's a JDM engine, but would the shift linkage and motor mounts out of a 99-00 SI work?

Re: b16a swap (Mayhem521)
yes the motor mounts out of an si will work just get the rear tranny bracket.
also youll need some wiring to be done or..
get a 96-00 b-series alternator
96-00 b-series dizzy
96-00 b-series starter
0bd2 > obd1 jumper harness for the ecu
and use the fuel injectors that came with the car
just to let you know im pretty positive you wont pass inspecition in most states. GL thought

Will those injectors be enough?
I thought the non-EX 6th gens (Y7) ran 190's, no?

Re: b16a swap (Syndacate)
well assuming he has an ex(d16y8) engine. if he doesnt than he will need to use y8 injectors or any b-series injectors since they are 240cc as opposed to y7 injectors which are 190cc
