Default b16a origin?

i just bought a civic with a b16 swap in it and i know its b16a but i wanted to know what it came out of. he gave me a reciept that says its a jspec engine. is there a way to find out exactly what year/make it came from?

this b16 is in what car? could be a number of cars crx 92-95 eg hatchback xsi integra

is their a usdm equivalent to this motor?im thinkin either a 99-00 civic si or a 94 del sol dohc vtec, but im not sure?anyone know i need help fast...

Yup. The 99-00 Si had the b16a2, while the Del Sol had the b16a3 (I believe).

what is the closest equivelent? i need my jdm b16a to pass emissions. i think i am missing an 02 sensor but i dont know what to use for the jdm b16a. im pretty sure the 02 sensor is in the cat?can anyone confirm this?

Depends, OBD2 (b?) engines and ECUs used two O2s, one in the header, one behind the cat.
