B16a knocking

Default B16a knocking

I got a slit rod knock on my B16a I will be replacing the rod bearings will that resolve the problem. Or will there be anything else wrong.

well are you sure its the rod?... rod knocks usually arent "slite" try getting your valves adjusted... or take it to a mechanic... well if it is a rod bearing you wouldnt be able to

Well its coming from the bottom of the engine and I had my valves adjusted the mechanic said that changing the bearings probably would fix it just wanted an opinion if anybody was in the same situation ever.

Hate to hear that kind of news dude.

You can try replacing the bearings but if your bottom end is knocking then you might as well rebuild the entire bottom end with fresh guts.
