B16A into a 97 d16 hatch
what mounting differences will be encountered when installing a b16a in a 97 civic hatch back with its D16 wiring and mounts? which wiring harness and mounts can i get that will suffice , it has a y2k 1 trans and hydraulic clutch, and if it matters the motor doesn't have any other intake manifold # like A1 A2 A3 A6 etc, will this have an affect on the installation? Use your stock driverside timing belt mount, and your stock top tranny mount. You can reuse the rear rubber mount, but you will need to get a new "L" shaped bracket from a 99-00 SI. If you want to retain your AC you will also need to get a Delsol VTEC, AC mount. You will also need the front tranny mount from a B series tranny.

Might be able to find some more information there.

There is a picture of the "L" bracket I was referring to on that page.

if you got pictures it would be best. but you can use your stock harness, two top mounts and you'll need linkage, front tranny and a/c bracket unless you got a/c and want to retain it.
