B16a head gasket job
The search wasn't functioning. Does anyone know a good writeup? I'm sure a lot of it is commonsense, I'm pretty good with working on cars, but I want to know if there is anything not obvious I should look out for. I think the motor got a little hot, the needle started to creep towards the red, but I shut it off when that happened, then like a week later it started to miss a lot and the next day it got really bad. I pulled the plugs and cylinder 4 was all wet. Is it possible that getting the motor a little hot could have caused the motor to warp enough to get the gasket to go bad? When I kicked the cap off and coolant sprayed everywhere, when I usually take it off when it's hot, it doesn't even bubble. How do thinner ones work? Thanks

Are you talking about the cap that on most cars usually says "don't remove while hot" (or something along those lines)
