B16a EG wont start - but just clicks when the key's turned... HELP!!!
I've been having problems with my car starting poorly for nearly a year. Usually when I try to start the car before its warmed up (it is REALLY shitty in the winter) it'll crank with the fuel pump on, but the motor sounds like its a firing at the wrong time cause the motor makes clunking sounds and only actually starts after 3-6 times of cranking which usually results in flooding the motor. Of course once its running EVERYTHING works great.
Well this morning I cranked it as usual and it made the noises, but then it just stopped cranking.
When I turn the key or push the clutch in I can hear the starter engaging (clicking) but it wont turn the motor. Then if I turn the crank manually I can hear the starter click again as it retracts.
Pop starting works, but does this sound like an electrical problem to anyone? Please help!!!
Thanks!

Yea its deffiently a proplem,
Check your battery connections for corosion and clean if need be. I belive baking soda and water works for this?
Double check your wiring by making sure its tight. Just give it a tug to be sure.
Check out your battery, and alternator (Free test at Auto Zone still I belive)
If I had a guess Id say its a bad starter. (Worn spot that wont let you start unless its ligned up just right.) (Starter should also be a free test once you remove it and bring it in to them) Its fairly easy to remove two bolts on the top of the transmission.
