B16 vacuum line help!!!!!!!!!!!
one of the vacuum lines coming from my intake manifold is not connected anywhere. It causes a bouncing idle, unless I stick my finger over the open end of the hose (and it has really strong suction)...
Where does it go to? I have looked everywhere for a diagram and I can't find one with the right view of that hose.
Specifically, it is the fourth hose in from the right. There are two little ones, then two large ones (the hose in question is the 2nd large hose from the right).
Thanks.

Re: B16 vacuum line help!!!!!!!!!!!
... the only things I can think of that require vacuum (on a non turbocharged vehicle) are :
PCV valve, EVAP purge tube (fuel vapor feed tube), EVAP purge (control vacuum side), fuel pressure regulator, IAB (for a B18C GSR engine), brake booster vacuum line, some cruise control setups, ... thats all I can think of right now.

Re: B16 vacuum line help!!!!!!!!!!!
PCV Valve:
Generally a larger port opening at the middle part of the topside front part of the intake manifold.
EVAP purge tube (fuel feed):
Generally an intermediate sized port close to the topside part of the throttle body.
EVAP Purge (control vacuum):
Generally a small port sized hole located at the backside part of the intake manifold.
Fuel Pressure Regulator:
Generally a small port size hole located at the front driverside part of the intake manifold
Brake Booster Vacuum Line:
Generally a large size port located at the back/top middle section of the intake manifold.
Cruise control Vacuum line:
Generally a small size port located at backside driverside section of the intake manifold.
Warning: I am making assumptions here (and assumptions are the mother of all f*ck-ups). I have not worked on many types of Honda/Acura engines that yours may conform to.
I'm guessing its your EVAP system but like I said.
