which will fit on my d16z6? the EF or EG b16 throttle body? or will both fit? i was told that there were differences between the two, so i wanna make sure which one i should get.

all b and d tb's are interchangable
just use the right gasket and bore out the IM a bit to match

the 94 + b16 tb is off an EG right? so i can't use the EF b16 tb on my d series? i found a tb in the junkyard today, and the map sensor isn't mounted on the tb, does this mean i found an EF tb?

don't know what you mean by ef or eg b16. chassis code has little to do with the engine. The b16 was only available in the us in the mid 90s del sol vtec and 99-00si. So tb from b16a2 and b16a3 will bolt right up. Older b16a1 will not. IIRC, it only has a 58mm tb.

i just made sure that the tb i got was the same obd as my motor- which i dont know if it made a difference in where the sensors were, but it might. the b series tb's with the exeption of the type r are 60 mm as compared tothe 56 for the z6. they will bolt right up- get the gasket to match the tb and port out the manifold a little and it will be golden

I installed a GSR throttlr body on my D series and everything bolted right up, I had to adjust the idle when done, but did not have to bore intake or anything like that.
