Re: B16 sirII swap EG, what header?? (dantastic)
my stock b16 header does not come with the secong half of the header where the o2 bung at?? whats it called,..A pipe right??
....say if I look around around for a used OEM header, the del sol vtec and 99-00 SI OEM header is what I should look for??
What if I dicide to go aftermarket like DC, which one of which car is best fit??

Go with any Del Sol DOHC VTEC header. This avoids you any problems you may have with bolting to your existing catalytic converter.
You may need an extension pipe with other headers, as they are not a bolt on affair.
Good luck and choose wisely.

yea ur missing the a-pipe. delsol vtec and 99+si a-pipes are different.... im not sure that the interchange. i do know that the delsol a pipe has a 50mm OD flange, and the 99+si has a 51mm OD flange

Re: B16 sirII swap EG, what header?? (HATCHingMN)
I'm using a stock '99 Si header on my B16A SiR II and clearance is perfect, but I would say that has to do with how low your car is in the first place. I have adjustable coilovers so that's not an issue.
I used to have a DC Sports 4-1 header it was the same part# for both the Del Sol VTEC and '99-'00 Si so you can't go wrong with that.

Anybody know if the b16 top half of the OEM exhaust mani will bolt up to the D16z6 lower portion?? Will it bolt up and will it clear the b16 oil pan??
I only have the top part of the B16 manifold that is why I ask.
