So my b16 idles really high when i start motor cold, it idles at about 3000 rpm until it warms up and then returns to 850, i think its my FITV, and i know there is a way to adjust it, i read that i can open it up and tighten the plunger in the FITV, but how do i know how tight to do it, does that sound right?

I have an OBD0 b16 I/M on my b16. When i took it to my tuner, he just unplugged the vacuum line from it that comes off the forward part of that idle control deal. It's like your Gulbladder, it's just there for show... lol

yea see i have an obd1 mani with obd1 throttle body, so i dont have a vacuum line to it, but your right i do think its just their for show because and obd2 manifold and throttle body doesnt even have one
