B16 hatch with sloppy shifter problems, please help!!!!
Ok to start I just finished rebilding my b16a and it runs great but when I put the car back together I had excessive play in the shifter, I was pissed but replaced the bushings anyway. Now after 45 mins i finished replacing them and I still have the same excessive play, anyone got any good ideas? i made sure I tightened the bolts what the heck happend?

Is the "bitch" pin loose?
There is a pin on the end of the shift rod, close to the transmission, that if its not there will cause a lot of play in shifting.

i would put money on the bolt.a new bitch pin can't be that much at the dealer for a newone. usually a little play there causes alot of play on the end.
