B16, D16?????

lol well, i was a bit confused. The markings under the hood on my eg6 say it is a B16A2, but my vechle registration documents say its is D16A2. and it definately is DOHC

Check the VIN on the engine if you can find the number. Then compare the number to the other Vehicle Identification Number(VIN)s in the car.
