Default b16 block with b18 head

hey everyone i was wondering if the b16 block will except the b18 head with no mods, and also what is the advantage of this, i dont want to do a k series cuz there way to expensive and im broke, i plan on doing more auto cross and club events and the b is a respected and trustworthy engine for what i plan on doing so i just want to try and get some good power out of it with not spending alot of money
