I'll stick to my peice of sheet metal inbetween it.

And thats not your idle air control valve, its your Fast Idle Thermo Valve.

Tin soda can does the same exact thing. Screw paying actual money for sheet metal when it does the same thing.

Ok b4 you install the block-off you have the the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) under the throttle body. This is only connected to one hose which goes to the motor. Then right on top of the FITV is another hose not connected to the FITV but to the TB and it goes to the IACV((Idle Air Control Valve) in back on the intake manifold. Well with the block off plate all you do is remove the hose going from the top of the FITV to the IACV. Then the other hose which goes from the FITV to the motor needs to also be removed because you'll need a longer one to run it straight to the IACV. You'll have the hose going from the engine to the IACV instead of going to the FITV then to the IACV. Since there is no FITV anymore you will have the little tube or w/e on top of the FITV open. You can close it or leave it open. I left mines open. And of course install the block-off. End result was fine it worked fine.

This is for whoever is interested. isnt hard to do jus posted in case anyone was curious.

That i didnt have to buy another FITV and more space in dat section i guess. Also an FITV is expensive.
