b-series TRANNY swap in an EG... clearance questions
I'm sorry if this has been covered. I did multiple searches for "tranny swap," "tranny clearance," etc.
Tomorrow I'm swapping the stock LS tranny/clutch/flywheel out of my EG, and replacing it with an ATS'ified (Owen the soyboy's old tranny, to O!) ITR tranny, an 8lb flywheel and new clutch.
Anyway, we had some issues swapping the tranny in my EF (another b-series), and ended up having to pull the whole swap just to change the tranny, because of clearance issues.
The EG engine bay is without a doubt more spacious, but is there enough room to do the tranny swap without ripping the whole swap out? I think there is, but I just figured I'd ask, so I can plan accordingly.
Thanks in advance.
