Default B series oil pans?

I'm currently pulling my JDM B16A out of a shell and putting it into a hatch shell I have. When I bought the hatch, it had a blown B18C5 in it (Type R). The oil pan on my B16 is pretty tore up (my brother borrowed my car and put it in a ditch drunk, argh!), so I'm wondering if the Type R pan will work?

And if not, which oil pans will work on a B16?

you can use any b series (vtec and non) oil pan on a b16, but you can only use an itr/gsr pan for b18c's. your best bet though is to just get another b16 pan as an itr pan is slightly deeper.

Thanks. I knew the pickup was different on one of them, but I wasn't really sure.

I think I'm just gonna use the Type R pan, and put the right amount (4.2 quarts ) in.
