dude on your front bumper you will see 4 lights.. the center two are fog/aux and the outer two are headlights. The aux light button makes the center two foglights come on.

if you don't have foglights in your bumper it's because the front of the car was damaged at some point and someone put a different (96-97) bumper on the car and nixxed the lights for whatever reason.

Was wondering what that button was for myself. I just found out I have some blueish fog lights from the previous owner. Here are the pics.

Its for the auxiliary lights, the 2 inside ones. The headlights must also be on for the aux lights to turn on. But you can re-wire them so you don't need the headlights.

Sadly somebody cut the harness right before they plug into the bulbs, no idea why. But I figured everyone knew what the aux. button did lol.

They are auxiliary lights, not fog lights. In some countries they actually do use a halogen headlight style bulb (H4), but here in the US they use an 1156, which we usually use for taillights and turn signals.

The AUX button is for turning on the auxiliary lights. All '93-'95 del Sols come with those lights.

This is the button for the fog lights for a '93-'95.

The fog lights for the '93-'95 del Sol mount in the bottom of the front bumper, on either side of the grille. These are the fog lights for a '93-'95 del Sol. The fog lights for '93-'95 del Sols are rare.

These are the fog lights for the '96-'97 del Sol btw.

What's still unclear though (perhaps only to me?), is the purpose to the Auxiliary lights. Especially if in the US/Canada where it is a 27W incandescent bulb vs. other markets that have a halogen bulb in its place.
