Default AutoX'ed the h22 in the eg. Results.

Suspension setup is stock 92 civic dx suspension. Has a set of Ground controls with stock civic rates and stock 130k mile honda shocks. 195/50/15 inch potenza street tire. THATS ALL

RESULTS= All of the people who said this car cant autocross are DEAD wrong. There was very little push in the vehicle. it was very stable. Car would be VERY competive with a real suspension setup and some slicks. Just trying to give some real advice from real drivers. If one of the reasons your NOT doing the h22 swap is for poor handling, this is not the case. PM me if ya have any questions.

Throttle lift + tires + tire pressures = very influential on handling.

So how'd ya do at the autocross?

Heh, I could've told you that . Remember early last year at Hybrid Track day in Buttonwillow? I was following you (or you were following me) a few times when you were in your DA and I was in my EG w/H22A in there..... I think one of the first H22 Civics on a road course and to tell about it. My car handled really well on the course and on a couple of laps, I just left it in 3rd gear throughout the entire track just to see how it felt.... on the cork-screw turn, I dropped down to 1000 rpms and it picked back to 8000 rpms very quickly with no lag, still keeping it in 3rd gear. With a good suspension setup and good tires, it's actually a very fun car to drive on the road course.

Del, make the long trip again and come back down to another Track Day here in sunny so cal .

I havent checked the results yet. I entered in Modified class because i wanted to race earlier in the morning. I wasnt competing, just trying to get a good time to compare it to other cars that would be in my class.. ill let you know how we did... An itr on slicks was 4 seconds faster then we were.... With slicks you can EASILY get rid of 4 seconds.. Plus he had a TEIN suspension also... rich punk. ahaha..

Newman, id love to come down there for a track day... But this time im going to tow the car instead of driving it.. That was just to scary, driving 1400 miles, racing all day, then having to drive 1400 miles back. ahaha.
