I was looking for a vtec wire harness. I went to a junk yard and asked for one. He asked me which one i needed--the dash harness or the engine harness? i wasn't sure so i thought i'd ask you guys first. And about the harness i still wasn't clear if the harness on the auto and manual are the same. i was thinking about the reverse light and the vtec. is there a few more wires in the manual harness. so would that would mean that i wouldn't be able to use my Dx wire harness at all. right? and how would i be able to tell if the computer that i bought is equipped with vtec. any help will be greatly appreciated.

it'll be alot easier to get a 5 speed engine wire harness with the corresponding year... (ie. obd-I, get an obd-I vtec harness, etc.)

you can use your stock wire harness, but you'll have to re wire **** up and wire up the vtec signal.

you will also need a new ecu, auto ecus and 5speed ecu's are different.
